Recycled Yarn Manufacturing
Peninsular Tradings have installed a Recycled Yarn Manufacturing Plant as a sustainable practice to reduce the impact of our company.
We produce recycled yarn from the quality check failed Knitted Garments from Tirupur – major Knitwear Cluster of India. We are producing 3 Tonnes of Recycled yarn every day- which is equivalent to 1000 tonnes per year.
We are scaling our production to meet our target for 2025 – 5000 tonnes per year!
Safe Chemicals
We also take utmost care in making sure our products are free from harmful chemicals and hazardous dyes, specifically in wastewater. A practical feasible action plan supports us in avoiding the use of toxic chemicals and also in the preventative handling of hazardous substances.
We follow strict procedures during wet processing of fabrics and adhere to international standards and compliance. Our focus is on the continuous reduction of harmful substances in the production.
Ethical Practices
Peninsular cares about the well being of our workers. We pay them fairly and no one is biased based on gender. We don’t practice a forced workforce and are strictly against it. We don’t employ anyone below the age of 18.
We work in accordance with the regional and international regulations and deeply care about workers wellfare.
Energy and Water Effecient
All our production facilities are equipped with the latest machinery and LED lightings which consume less electricity and are highly efficient.
We also have installed rainwater harvesting system in all our manufacturing units. It is an environmentally friendly technique that includes efficient collection and storage that greatly helps local people.
